This is a review from our guest Rafael on airbnb.com: We stayed four nights at House of Harmony in Yelapa, and it was the highlight of our year! It was so incredibly beautiful!!! Pictures really don't even come close to doing it justice. We took the water taxi from Puerto Vallarta and Angelika met us right as we arrived. She led us up to the house, which is about a 20 minute walk from town along a beautiful seaside path and then up through an enchanting jungle path. We were really grateful to be tucked away from town, as we got to experience true solitude and listen to the sounds of only the jungle and the ocean. The house itself is so comfortable and cozy. It was hard for us to leave each morning, as we would sit on the comfy hanging couch, sip our coffee and watch the dolphins jump out of the water in the ocean below. The whole front of the house is open to the beautiful ocean view. The bed is also hanging and is incredibly comfortable. We slept so well, listening to the waves crash into the shore below. The shower is hot and has great pressure. The kitchen has everything you'd need. Angelika keeps the house really clean. Angelika is such a wonderful host. She knows the area so well, having lived here for over 20 years. She gave us a cell phone in case we needed to contact her or anyone else. I highly recommend House of Harmony to anyone traveling to Yelapa. We were really glad to stay at a little distance from town, for extra peace and serenity, as well as a great excuse to do a little hike each day through beautiful landscapes. March 2015

This is a review from our guest Abbey on airbnb.com: Casa Armonia is a dream~ it is more beautiful then what the description or pictures show! The hang bed is delightful when sleeping to the ebb and flow of the ocean. And I'll have to agree with the last review that it has the best shower!! There is internet connection if you have usb connection. But honestly, the best thing was not using my phone or computer... It is a bit of a hike to and from town, almost twenty minutes. But the remoteness of the Casa is well worth the sweat! Angelika is an angel, truly. She lives close by and there is a house phone to connect with her anytime. If she invites you to her home, do it! An experience that could change your life, haha:) I feel blessed to have found this home to stay in and to have connected with Angelika. Will recommend it to everyone~

Thank you Angelika and Charlie for renting out your amazing palapa to me. I had an absolutely wonderful 12 days in January 2015 in Yelapa at Casa de Armonia. To get to the palapa on The Point from the little village you have to hike at least 15 minutes along the ocean path and through the beautiful jungle. The palapa sits on a slope in the jungle right above the ocean in a very peaceful and private setting. The palapa has everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay and lots of personal touches from Angelika such as books, CDs, and beautiful textiles. She was very helpful during my stay and went over and beyond her responsibility as a hostess. Among the many things she did for me included inviting me to a ladies poker game, inviting me to her birthday dinner party, inviting me to go shopping in PV, doing my laundry, delivering coffee, arranging for a Marietas Island boat trip, arranging for my bags to be carried to and from the palapa, and making sure everything was perfect.

Our stay at Casa de Harmonia was amazing. I can't describe the peace we felt while relaxing in the living room, looking out at the sea, listening to all the ocean and forest sounds. Plenty of bird watching and nature to enjoy. The hike to town is pleasant and good exercise. We loved it!

This is another review from our guests through airbnb: Angelika and Charlie were wonderful hosts, and Casa de Armonia is such a unique and beautiful place - really special. Gorgeous views of the bay, you can even see the twinkling lights of Puerto Vallarta at night. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a hike through the jungle, but we got used to it on our daily adventure into town. Lovely.

This is a review from our guest Jody Joanna who stayed with us through airbnb.com: This lush palapa on the edge of the ocean is idyllic. Yelapa is a very special place on the edge of mountains and the ocean, accessible only by water taxi – so there no cars anywhere! I hesitate to describe how perfect it was since I want this place to be available again. For me this small house was an ideal combination of authentic natural construction and with conveniences. The palapa is about 15 minutes hike through the forest from the (small) town so there is plenty of privacy and it is quiet – except for the noise of the forest of and sea. Angelika and Charlie are friendly, helpful and well established in Yelapa. If the hike to the palapa with your bags is a problem, you can hire some help. Basically this place has excellent vibes and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a restorative holiday.

I spent ten wonderful days at Casa Armonia and loved each minute of it! The house is simple, but well appointed, quiet, serene and the view is stunning. I wrote my heart out, walked into town (only about 20 minutes) and went down to the water. I can't say enough about the house, or Angelika and Charlie, who were helpful, responsive and respectful. I highly recommend it for nature and peace lovers!

Lovely Angelika. Do you remember me? I been coming to Yelapa for years. Last few years with my blond dog and inflatable kayak. Always want a place on the water from where I can paddle out with my dog Shea.

I remember playing music on the deck while it was being built! It will be one of the quietest places in town, no sound but the sea.
